I went to shopping a few days ago with my eldest sis in a shopping complex in Bangsar which a new shopping venue for me. It is a really fancy and classy mall as to compare with others, However, I felt I was heavily humiliated as we were totally ignored when we stepped into a gown shop. It is a reputable designer’s shop and the gowns there are really trendy. The bell on the sounded as we opened the door, I was half expecting the promoter who was sitting behind the counter to get up to welcome us. Instead, she just looked at as coldly as though why were we there. Totally turning a blind eye on us, she resumed her work behind the counter. Rage rose as if she was mocking me as a beggar. I merely followed my sis and did not look around the shop. After we walked out of the shop, my sis told me we should wear better cloths (I was wearing jeans and t-shirt). I disagree with her as I think that service should not be given according to appearance but it should come from bottom of one’s heart. Every customer is potential buyer of your service no matter how he or she is dressed. Do you agree?
