Holidays, A New Life
12.12.2006. A meaningful day. I attended the Program Rakan Remaja Hospital Kluang along with many of my classmates. We got to learn how to make bed and taking care of the patients. However, it was all theory at first and the process of learning was quite boring sometimes. Last Friday, we had our persembahan. Group 1 (my group) presented a sketch which ended with a cheer, “the Pink Girls”.
Oh, Pink Girls!
Pinky, Pinky, Pinky!
Pink Girls memang Hot!!!
Pinky, Pinky, Pinky!
Shakalakababe, Shakalakababe.
Ohh, Pinky!!!
That was my first time really doing a cheer in front of many people. It was like taking a small step on the moon—a huge step in my life. Yup, I’m not the kind who can present well in front of others. I always care about what image I portray in others’ eyes, do I look stupid? Are my jokes funny? Do my friends hate me for who I am? Hmm, it seems like I’m a problematic girl (direct translation). I’m not used to speaking to strangers and enjoying group activities, I like to be alone in my own world where my imagination can run wild. I think that’s why I do not like camping. Fortunately, this program helps me in my communication skills. You know, through introducing yourself and playing group games. On the whole, this holiday lead me to the door of a new life.
